Sandra Riggs

Sandra “Sandy” Hixson Riggs, 80, of Chattanooga, went home to be with the Lord on Dec. 13, 2017. She was an active member of Abba’s House and enjoyed her Sunday School class. Sandy loved gardening, cooking, golf, bowling, adventure travel and spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ken Riggs and parents, Dan and Edna Hixson. She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly “Kim” (Mark) Gould, Kathryn “Kathy” (Bruce) Riggs, Suzanna (John) Michelena and Sharon (Chris) English; grandchildren, Andrew Gould, Kaitlyn Gould, Sarah Riggs, Kenny Riggs, Matthew (Krystle) Michelena, Nathan Michelena, Hannah Michelena, Rachel English, Rebekah (Caleb) Johnston and Daniel English; great-grandchild, Asher Johnston; siblings, Sylvia (Bobby) Clift, Dan (Anna) Hixson and David (Tricia) Hixson; several nieces, nephews, lifelong friend; Pat Gilbert and many beloved friends. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017, at noon at Hixson City Cemetery. Arrangements are held by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343.
