Violet Phillips

IDER — Violet Morene Saffells Phillips, 95, of Ider died Tuesday, Dec. 26 at her residence. Funeral services are Friday at noon at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel with Elder Greg Phillips and Elder Randy Dillon officiating. Burial will follow in Fuller Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time. Survivors include children, Barry Phillips (Martha), Patricia Phillips, Greg Phillips (Sandra), Gary Phillips (Linda), Max Phillips, Mary Dillon (Randy), David Phillips; daughter-in-law, Wanda Phillips; special care taker, (Sandy Phillips); grandchildren, Brian Phillips (Dana Lacy), Geoffery Phillips, Scott Phillips (Bonnie), Rebecca Griffin (Robert), Kelly Stewart (Arnold), John Phillips (Katie), Christy Phillips, Tony Phillips, Olivia Phillips, William Phillips, nine great-grandchildren. Mrs. Phillips was a member of Macedonia Privitive Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Kittrell and Nancy Pearl Gibson Saffells; husband, W.D.
