Michael Kleinstub

Michael Lee Kleinstub, 47, died in Chicago, Ill., on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2017, of a sudden illness. A graduate of Notre Dame High School and Curry College, Michael was a former TV Sports Director at KAMR in Amarillo Texas. Mike umpired college baseball and was recently a real-estate entrepreneur in the Chicago area. Michael carried the 1996 Olympic Torch and was a member of the Krystal Hall of Fame. Michael is survived by wife, Serena; son Kayden; parents, Judy and Jerry Kleinstub; sister, Sandi Kleinstub Ring and nieces, Sydney and Jolie Ring. A memorial service will take place at 5:30 p.m. today, Feb. 12, at B'nai Zion Synagogue, 114 McBrien Road. Memorial contributions can be made to Mike Kleinstub, at www.GoFundMe.com.
