Christine Jonakin

Christine B. Jonakin, 91, of Chattanooga, passed away on, Feb. 5, 2017. A graduate of Chattanooga Central High School, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Kenneth W. Jonakin; her parents, Rosa and Irving Buchele; brother, Howard Buckley and son, Michael. She was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Joy Jonakin Park; son, Steven K. Jonakin; and grandson, Andrew Park, Denver, Colo. Per her request, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Cremation Center of Chattanooga, 1345 Hickory Valley Road, 423-362-5999.
