Edith Studdard

LaFAYETTE — Edith Stubbard, 92, passed away Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, O D Studdard; grandson, Cecil Ray Suddard, Jr.; parents, Thomas Sumner and Malinda Sumner; nine brothers and two sisters; and daughter-in-law, Mary Studdard. Survivors are son, Cecil Ray Studdard, Sr., of Lyerly; daughter, Linda (Ronzie) Carroll, Sr., of LaFayette; grandchildren, Tammey and Buddy Davis, of Ringgold, Deedee and David McCormick, of LaFayette, Kimmey and E.J. Jones, of Ringgold, Patricia and Dennis Bolton, of Lyerly, and Ronzie and Rena Carroll, Jr., of LaFayette; 11 great-grandchildren; ten great great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services 2 p.m. today, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel, with Kevin Norton officiating. Interment to follow in LaFayette Memory Gardens. Pallbearers are Lee McCormick, Ronzie Carroll, Jr., Andrew Carroll, Miles Bolton, Coby David, and BJ Davis. Visitation at the funeral home today, until time of service. Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
