James Humberd

James William Humberd, 66, of Hixson, entered peacefully into the presence of the Lord, his Savior, on Friday, Feb. 17, 2017. Bill was born Nov. 11, 1950, in Hixson where he grew up and graduated from Hixson High School. Bill was a deacon and faithful member of the Emmanuel Praise Temple (Pentecostal Church). He was a most devout, loving and giving man, always thinking of others. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Juanita Humberd; his grandparents, Lonnie and Minnie Gunter, James and Ida Humberd; and an infant sister, Catherine Ann. Left to cherish his memories is his loving wife of 31 years, Debbie; daughters, Sabrina Humberd, Charity (James) Williams, Beth (Jon) Poarch; brother, Perry (Becky) Humberd; 10 grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; two nieces; one nephew; one great-niece and many friends and loved ones. A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017, at the Emmanuel Praise Temple with Pastor Jan and Assistant Pastor Tim Inman officiating.
