Lawrence Tebbitt

In loving memory of Lawrence (“Larry”) J. Tebbitt, 83, born March 6, 1933, in Granite Falls, Minn., passed away Feb. 16, 2017, in Chattanooga, Tenn. He was preceded in death by parents, Mary G. Brockey Tebbitt and Clifford Garnet Tebbitt; siblings, Mary Tebbitt and Thomas Tebbitt. Survived by children, Michael L. (Cynthia) Tebbitt, Clifford G. (Jo) Tebbitt and Robert A. (Susan) Tebbitt, also survived by four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. His parents moved to Minneapolis from Granite Falls after his birth in 1933 and raised all of their children in Minneapolis. Larry married Shirley A. Loeffler in 1954. He worked as a salesman for decades and later in life developed a real love to work with his hands. Larry was a veteran of the Navy (Korean War) and a resident of Chattanooga since 1998.
