Wilma Looney

Wilma Jo Looney, 86, of East Ridge, passed away Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017, in a local health care facility. She was born Feb. 3, 1931, in Spencer, Tenn., to the late William Ezra and Lela Madewell Keyt. Mrs. Looney was a longtime member of Calvary Memorial Baptist Church in Ringgold and was retired from both Republic Parking and Cutter Laboratories after many years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Robert Looney; daughter, Theresa Maelene Looney; sisters, Alene (Robert) Mullins, Katherine (Buster) Irwin and Letha (John) Reib; brothers, Robert Austin (Awilda) Keyt, Nolan S. (Ruth) Keyt, William (Martha) Keyt, Jr., Dawson (Sarah) Keyt, and Jimmy (Faye) Keyt; nieces Wanda Irwin, Neida (Jerry) Scudgins, and Jane Lindsey; and nephews, Kenneth (Judy) Irwin and David Reib. Survivors include children, Robert Alan (Faye) Looney, of Ringgold, William Joseph Looney, of East Ridge, and Beverly Ann Williams, of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Charles Damon Looney, Jason Alan Looney, Kristie Lynn Courtney, Matthew David (Sarah) Williams, and Megan Laura Williams; and great-grandsons, Isaac Alan Williams and Hayden Adkins, all of Chattanooga; special nephew, Stephen Keyt, of Chattanooga, nephew, Robert (Mary) Mullins, of Woodbury, Tenn.; and nieces, Jean (Thomas) Hayes, of Woodbury, Tenn., and Carol Reib, of Denver, Colo.
