Glenda Massey

LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN — Glenda Clark Massey, 72, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017. She was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and North Georgia areas and was a member of Chattanooga Valley Baptist Church. She was previously employed with Lucey Boiler Company for more than 30 years as the Bookkeeper. Glenda enjoyed cooking, loved antiques and adored New Smyrna Beach, Fla., spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who will be truly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her loving husband of more than 54 years, Jack Massey, of Lookout Mountain, Ga.; daughters and son-in-law, Marty and Moose Long, of Flintstone, Ga., and Kathy Massey, of Red Bank; three sisters, Marilyn Massey, of Lookout Mountain., Ga., Paula Mowry, of East Ridge, and Darlene Scott, of Chickamauga, Ga.; one granddaughter, Casey Long and numerous extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2017, in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel, with Bro. Keith James officiating. Burial will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
