Jewell Stolz

Jewell Goodman Stolz, 89, of Ooltewah, passed away on Friday, Jan. 20, 2017. She was born in Cleveland, Tenn., on Jan. 14, 1928, to the late John H. Goodman, Sr. and Fannie Walker Goodman. Jewell was a faithful member of High Point Baptist Church and the Adult Sunday school class for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Alfred C. (Bubba) Stolz; infant daughter; infant son; sister, Eva Robertson; brother, Johnny Goodman; sisters-in-law, Marlene Goodman, Jean Kelsey, Marge Middlekauff and Mary Thomas; nephew, Mike Goodman; great-nephews, Chris and Josh Robertson and special aunt and uncle, Leslie and Novella G. Ainsworth. Survivors include her sister, Mary Nell (Everette) McKinley, of Hampstead, N.C.; special nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and close friends. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 22, at Lakewood Memory Gardens, East with the nephews and friends serving as pallbearers. Rev. Millard Hooper will be officiating.
