Bryce Norman

SOUTH PITTSBURG — Bryce Norman, 66, died Friday, July 7, 2017, in a Chattanooga hospital. The son of the late Thomas Owen and Mary Ruth Bible Norman, he was a 1969 graduate of South Pittsburg High School and attended Northeast Alabama Community College and Middle Tennessee State University. He was the manager of the Marion Farmers co-op for more than 46 years. Bryce was a member of Lou’s Chapel United Methodist Church. He loved to play Bluegrass music and enjoyed playing with a Bluegrass group each Saturday night. He is survived by his wife, Claudette Payne Norman; daughter, Lisa Norman, both of South Pittsburg; brothers, Bill (Lois Jean) Norman, of South Pittsburg and Tom (Pauline) Norman, of Angier, N.C.; several nieces and nephews. The family will gather with friends for visitation on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg from noon CT until time of service. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. CT on Tuesday, with Rev. Joe Moore, officiating. Interment will follow at Tate Cemetery in the Battle Creek Community.
