Jacky Thomas

CHICKAMAUGA — Jacky William Thomas, 67, passed away at Memorial Hospital Friday, July 14, 2017. Born in Cedartown, Ga., in 1950, Jacky was of the Baptist faith and was a self-employed drywall installer. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lola Mae Thomas; brother, Frank Thomas; and nephew, DeWayne Thomas. Survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Debbie Thomas; daughters, Holly (Danny) Claire, Heather Thomas Fleming, and Christy Thomas, all of Chickamauga; grandchildren, Kaylee Claire, Jenna Claire, Sean Claire, Seth Claire, Emma Fleming, Benson Thomas, and Kynlee Ann; sisters, Betty Martin, of Chickamauga and Marilyn (George) Baker, of LaFayette; brothers, Wayne (Diane) Thomas and Curtis (Debbie) Thomas, all of Chickamauga, and Ralph Thomas, of LaFayette; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 6 p.m. Monday, July 17, 2017, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel. Interment will be private in the LaFayette City Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home Monday from 4 p.m. until hour of service. Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
