Henry Hawthorne

ROCK SPRING — Henry (Charlie) Wallace Hawthorne, 76, passed away Monday, June 19, 2017. He was a member of Church of Christ of Chickamauga and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Linda Bates Hawthorne, of Rock Spring; daughter, Crystal (Mark) Hawthorne Buffington, of Noble, Ga.; son, Andy (Dee) Hawthorne, of Dayton, Tenn.; grandchildren, Ceanna Asher, Kalie Asher, Culley Hawthorne, David Hawthorne; great- grandchild, Marshall Eli Gross; sister, Thelma Clark; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside service 4 p.m. today, at LaFayette Memory Gardens, with Minister Shane Robinson officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home today, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
