Kevin Rentzell
Kevin Ashley Rentzell, 54, of Chattanooga, Tenn., passed away on Monday, June 5, 2017.
Kevin was owner of RK Dirtworks and formerly a professional motorcycle roadracer with WERA and AMA. He was an eight-time National Sprint Champion and four-time National Endurance Champion in the 1980s and early 1990s.
Kevin was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Rentzell; father, Robert Rentzell; and brother Robert “Bob” Rentzell.
Kevin is survived by his two daughters, Amanda Rentzell, of Gig Harbor, Wash., and Victoria Keese-Rentzell, of Estill Springs, Tenn.; brother, Stephen Lindsey Rentzell, of Chattanooga, Tenn.
Daughter Amanda and family will receive friends on Sunday, June 25, 2017, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace.
A celebration of life service for Kevin will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Sunday in the funeral home chapel.
