Oma Hall

ROSSVILLE — Oma Jo Hall, 87, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Hall was born on June 21, 1929, in Brasstown, N.C., to the late Willam and Mary Mason. She was a member of the Maggie Chapel Baptist Church in Brasstown and she loved sewing and spending time with her husband, especially going to bowling events with him. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, and sister, Frances Eloise Kephart. Survivors include her loving husband of 67 years, Robert Dillard Hall; many nieces and nephews, including Michael and Linda Kephart, and James and Jan Barnes; special friends that she considered grandchildren, Jonathan and Yaritza Young; best friends, Tuttie Kelly and Ginger Clayton; special family friend, Ronnie Thompson. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 26, at 10:30 a.m. in the South Crest Chapel. Eulogies will be given by family members. Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 8:30 a.m. until the service hour at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
