John Sullivan Sr.

ROSSVILLE — John Edward “Ed” Sullivan Sr., was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 25, 2017. He was 89 years old. He attended Bible Missionary Church and was retired from ICI TNT Plant, where he worked for 25 years. John was a handyman and enjoyed working in his yard, hunting and fishing. He also loved working on cars and helping others and if you asked for anything, he was there. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Mary Sullivan; three brothers, J.B., Alvie and Frank; three sisters, Agnes, Doris and Gracie. Survivors include his wife, Freda Wilkey Sullivan; one son, Eddie Sullivan; one daughter, Mary Rash; five grandchildren, Chris Rash, Shannon Monroe, Shane Sullivan, Mandy Smith and Mick Rash; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Allen Sullivan; two sisters, Pauline Childers and Odell Walker. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, 2017, in the South Crest Chapel. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
