Brenda Reavley

SALE CREEK — Brenda Sue (Caraway) Reavley, 72, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017, at Erlanger Hospital. She was born in Sale Creek on May 6, 1944 to the late William F. and Anna Lee (Burton) Caraway. Brenda lived in Sale Creek for all her life, and graduated with the Sale Creek High School class of 1962. She loved crafts and painting and photography, and was very artistic as a whole. Brenda was very involved in her community, and would take meals to shut ins and loved to do face painting in fundraisers. She was a member of the Graysville Church of God. Brenda is survived by her husband of 54 years, Don Reavley of Sale Creek, in addition to her daughter, LaDonna (Ron) Janow, of Dayton. She is also survived by her two sisters, Sherry (Tommie) Goins, of Hixson, and Charlene (Johnny) King, of Dayton; in addition to her four brothers, Bill (Beverly) Caraway, of Greensburg, Pa., Tom Caraway, of Hixson, Jimmy (Vicky) Caraway, of Chatsworth, Ga., and Kenny Caraway, of Dayton. She is also survived by her best friend, Butch. A funeral service for Brenda will be held on Tuesday, at 7 p.m., with Rev. Jimmy Talley officiating. She will be laid to rest in Welch Rogers Cemetery in Sale Creek on Wednesday, at 11 a.m. next to her mother. Please share your memories of Brenda in her online guest register at www.vanderwallfh.com.
