Kim Howard

Kim Denice Howard, 54, of Hixson, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2017. A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, Kim graduated from Hixson High School and Chattanooga State, where she studied in nursing. She enjoyed a longtime career as an RN in the Chattanooga area and at Erlanger Hospital. A beloved mother, nurse and friend, she will be greatly missed by her daughters, Emily Thompson and Christin Howard; parents, Ernest “J.R.” Stone and Nellie Lance; siblings, Judy Miller, James Stone, Eric Stone, Heather Williams, and Annalisa Stone; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m., Friday, March 10, 2017, in the funeral home chapel. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 3 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted, however, those desiring may make a contribution in Kim’s name to the Humane Educational Society of Chattanooga.
