Alvis Webb

Alvis Webb, went peacefully home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, March 10, 2017, at his residence with his family by his side. Alvis was born on Oct. 3, 1934, in West Virginia to the late Cullie and Vina Webb. Alvis lived in Chattanooga most of his adult life and was retired from Dixie Portland Flour Mill, where he was employed for 36 years. He was a passionate collector of baseball cards and Coca-Cola memorabilia. Alvis was a member of Woodland Park Baptist Church. Alvis was preceded in death by his son, Robert Allen Webb. Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Tula Webb; daughters, Pamela (Steve) Garrison and Bridget (David) Davis; grandsons, Nathan Garrison, Nicholas (Meagan) Garrison; brothers, Elwood Webb and Jack Webb; sisters, Mary Barton and Julia Whitaker; several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation, just a private graveside service for family. The family requests in lieu of flowers, a donation to Woodland Park Baptist Church.
