Kenneth Barber

LaFAYETTE — Kenneth Barber, 72, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Ken was a member of Kensington Church of God. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Barber and Aileen Hutto Barber. Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Gail Barber, of LaFayette; daughters, Tina (Bobby) Oglesby, of Savannah, Ga., Mellisa (Lindsay) Eads, of LaFayette, Linda Jean (David) Loner, of Ringgold; son, Danny (Belinda) Barber, of LaFayette; brother, Jerry (Rosemary) Barber, of Jacksonville, Fla.; grandchildren, Summer Thornbury, Victoria Beacham, Aubrey Davis, Kimberley Davis, Hunter Barber, Noah Eads, Nathan Thornbury, Joshua Thornbury, Timothy Rackley, Danielle Loner, Mia Barber, Blake Loner, Garrett Oglesby; great-grandson, Olyn Bogard; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 14, at 2 p.m. in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Pastor Dennis Chambers officiating. Interment to follow in LaFayette City Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
