Mary Jo Hendrix

Mary Jo Hendrix, 90, of Red Bank, passed away March 19, 2017. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter and sister. She was born in Carroll County, Georgia to the late Arthur C. and Bessie Boggs. She was an active member of Red Bank Baptist Church and the Hope Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Selby D. Hendrix, a WWII Navy Veteran; and five brothers. She is survived by two sons, Tim (Anne) Hendrix and Stephen (Margaret) Hendrix; eight grandchildren, Amy Hendrix, Chris (Jennifer) Hendrix, Beth Hendrix, Sasha (Josh) Eustice, Mary Jane (Jason) Broge, Mark (Teela) Hendrix, Jacob (Courtney) Waldrop and Emily Waldrop; 10 great-grandchildren and many loving family members and friends. A visitation will be held on today, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at 3:30 p.m. with a visitation prior to from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Committal service to follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
