MONTEAGLE — Christy Micah Brannan Bussard, born July 9, 1975, passed away Saturday evening, March 18, 2017, at Houston Hospice in Houston, Texas, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Johnny and Katherine Brannan and Jimmy Layne all of Monteagle. Christy loved life, enjoyed interior decorating and had a sweet spirit and touched many lives. She will be terribly missed by everyone that knew her. Survivors include her loving husband, Casey Bussard, of Houston; parents, Mike and Cindy Brannan, of Lenoir City; her brother, David Brannan and his wife, MaryAnn, of Lenoir City; grandparents, Charles and Caroylyn Masingill of Monteagle; her three beautiful nieces whom she adored, Matti Claire, Lily Kate, and Evie Micah Brannan, all of Lenoir City; along with aunts, uncles, cousins, very close friends and her dog, Hannah. A celebration of Christy's life will be 11 a.m. Thursday, at Morton Memorial United Methodist Church in Monteagle with Rev. Amanda Diamond officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 4 to 8 p.m. central time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Loudon Memory Gardens at 4 p.m. eastern time Thursday.
