Marlene Mackesy

Marlene Mackesy, 77, Passed away on March 21, 2017. She was preceded in death by father, Arthur Johnson; mother, Wilma Wilburn Myers; and grandson, Sean Brooks. She was a graduate of New Hampshire College. Her work experience included the Dorsey Corporation; founder of the American Forum; and First Lutheran Church. She was highly involved with the PCS program at First Centenary United Methodist Church and an active member of Rotary International. Surviving are her sisters, Beverly Brooker and Martha True; daughter, Lori Ivy; son, Stuart (Sara) Ivy, of Athens, Ga.; and grandchildren, Ivy (David) Hall and Samuel and Cade Ivy. Arrangements are by Cremation Center of Chattanooga, 1345 Hickory Valley Rd.
