Edmond Logan

RINGGOLD — Edmond Mize Logan, 63, passed peacefully in his sleep the morning of Wednesday, March 22, 2017. How do you say goodbye to a legend like Ed Logan? One of the greatest men I will ever have the privilege of not only knowing, but considering a friend. He was born to the late Tommy and Barbara Logan on May 17, 1953, in Chattanooga, Tenn. Ed brought forth a joy that had likely never before been seen. He has since spent these 63 years generously sharing this joy and his well-earned wisdom to any and all lucky enough to cross his path. Though some may have seen his ferocious temper, most knew him as a gentle spirit who was the life, and often host of every party. “Cash” Ed had a heart the size of Texas and a personality nearly twice as big. We love you...Until we meet again. In the wake of his passing, Ed leaves behind his loving wife of more than 26 years, Faith Webster Logan; children, Scott, Mark, Eddie, Billy, Charity and Sarah; sister, Linda; grandchildren, Markie, Cory, Matthew, Evan, Jaxon, Trey, Mason, Heather, Grace and Violet; great-granddaughters, Holli and Carlee and many nieces, nephews and beloved other family and friends. Celebration of life services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 25, 2017, in the Wallis-Stewart Chapel. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Lana’s Love Foundation at Lanaslove.com or 1801 East 24th Street Place, Chattanooga, Tenn., 37404. Online guest book at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Homes, Ringgold, Ga.
