Terry Brewer

Terry Ernest Brewer, 69, of Chattanooga, died Wednesday March 22, 2017, at his home. He was born in Palmer, Tenn., on Dec. 7, 1947, to Ernest Grady and Edna Marie Crabtree Brewer who preceded him in death along with his brothers, Kenneth and Dwain Brewer; nephew, Chris Brewer. Terry was known around the Mountain as “Chroney” and was an accomplished musician, Vietnam veteran serving in the U.S. Navy, he had worked for the Hamilton County Highway Department and had been a State Trooper in the Tennessee Highway Patrol. He is survived by his wife, Vanessa Brewer; daughter, Brittany (Robert) Eldridge; son, Kyler Lee Brewer; grandchildren, Hayden, Aubry and Adelynn Eldridge; sister-in-law, Glenda Brewer; niece, Rhonda Andrews. Graveside funeral services will be held 2 p.m. EDT Monday, at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors provided by the American Legion Post 95.
