Warren Howard

Warren Joseph Howard, 55, passed away on Feb. 12, 2017. Joe was raised in Red Bank, where he was an accomplished competitive swimmer, and began a life long love of fishing. He served in the U.S. Air Force, stationed in the Netherlands. We can be reassured to know he is now happily sitting with his fishing pole in the water, and can hear him even now, exclaiming how great the fish are biting or content even if they are not. Joe would take joy and pride in perfectly tending to the gardens there– pruned and raked and trimmed, for when the rest of us arrive and join him. He is sure to have collected an abundance of cats and dogs. The feeders will be full and the birds will be all about in festive chatter. Though, we will likely have to remind him “Joe, turn the music down, so we can talk.” Joe is survived by his children, Heather and Hannah; and his grandchildren, Cassidy and Dustin; his mother, Gloria Jo Howard; and siblings, Mary, John, Michael, and Catherine. Joe was preceded in death by his father, John Norman Howard. An intimate family gathering was held on the banks of the Tennessee river, on Feb. 20, 2017, to acknowledge his life and passing.
