ROCK SPRINGS — Janet Lee Plank, 52, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 22, 2017. She was a member of the Valley Memorial Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Carl House; grandparents, Porter and Myrtle Howse, Homer and Myrtle Kay, and Walter “Tarzan” and Sarah Wright. She is survived by her husband, Freddy Plank; parents, Patricia (Edward) “Skip” Meroney; children, Drew Burlingham, Candice (Chris) Bunch, Courtney Plank, Christa Plank, Carrie (Andy) Harrison, Kaleigh Akins and Merretta Morgan; sister, Tammy (Roy) Bunns; brothers, Dustin House and Bobby Lynn (Brittiany) Meroney; four grandchildren, Kylee, Kinsley, Katelynn and Karlie; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Family will receive friends on Friday, May 26, 2017, from 2 to 8 p.m. and up to the hour of service at the funeral home on Saturday. Funeral service will be held Saturday, May 27, 2017, at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor, Doug Janeway officiating. Interment will follow in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
