Dan Wiggs

William Daniel Wiggs III "Dan", passed away May 23, 2017, after a brief battle with cancer. Dan was preceded in death by his parents, William and Elizabeth Wiggs; his wife, Virginia Wiggs and daughter, Kristina Wiggs Smith. Dan is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Yvonne and Todd Varwig, son and daughter-in-law, Sam and Melissa Wiggs; sister, Anita Missal; son-in-law, Rick Smith; grandchildren, Rachel (Rex) Gambell, Joel Smith, Tyler (Sara) Varwig, Connor Varwig and Addison Wiggs; several nieces and nephews and, many close friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Home at 4506 Hixson Pike, Hixson. Service to follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. with military honors. Arrangements are by Hamilton Funeral home & Cremation Services, 4506 Hixson Pike, Hixson, 423-531-3975.
