Michael Evitt

Michael Leroy Evitt, 27, of Hixson, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Michael attended Hixson High School and worked for TAG Industries and Two Men and a Truck. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing. Michael was a big fan the Tennessee Vols and Dodge Cummings and had a great sense of humor. He adored his family and was preceded in death by his grandmother, Thelma Louise Evitt. Survivors are his parents, Janet Evitt Combs and James Combs; sisters, Michelle Evitt and Mackenzie Combs; nephew, Mason Jones; grandparents, Brenda and John Lopez; special aunt and uncle, Kathy and Jackie Evitt; several cousins, aunts and uncles. Services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017, at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Mike Combs officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery.
