Boyd Hartline

CLOUDLAND — Boyd Lee Hartline, departed this life on Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017. He was at his home, surrounded by his family and loved ones. Mr. Hartline was a lifelong resident of the Head River Community and a graduate of Northwest Georgia High School in Trenton, Ga. Boyd was born July 15, 1964, in Ft. Oglethorpe, Ga., to his parents Luther and Wanda Hartline. He has been an over the road truck driver most of his life and was employed by Swift Enterprises, based in Cleveland, Tenn., U.S. Express recently inducted Boyd into the Million Mile Club, with an 8-year accident free and safe driving record. Boyd was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter and Rosie Bell Hartline and Albert and Pauline Chapman; mother-in-law, Lois Lou Betz Pence. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Teresa Bradley Hartline; son, B.J. (Missy) Hartline; parents, Luther and Wanda Hartline; sister, Loretta (Larry) Roper; brothers, Kenneth Hartline and Dennis (Janet) Hartline; brothers-in-law, Randy “ KoJack” Bradley, Duke Bradley, Herman (Patty) Bradley, and Richard (Renea) Bradley; and sister-in-law, Tammy Cooper; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral service is 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jim Hixon officiating. Visitation 3 to 9 p.m. today and Tuesday from noon until service time at the funeral home.
