Christopher Carroll

ROSSVILLE — Christopher Arnold Carroll, passed away on Friday, Oct. 6, 2017, surrounded by his family. He was born to the late William and Kathleen McBryar Carroll in Stephenson, Ala., but has lived most of his life in the Fort Oglethorpe area and was of the Baptist faith. Chris was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, who will be greatly missed. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Kathy Roe. Chris is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Diane Carroll; daughters, Christy Carroll and Heather Carroll; stepson, Chris Hughes; sister, Deborah Brock; brother, Calvin Carroll; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at noon on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2 to 8 p.m. today, all day on Monday and prior to the service on Tuesday. Arrangements by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home-Ft. Oglethorpe.
