Maureen Weinmann

SCOTTSBORO — Maureen Weinmann, 64, of Scottsboro, passed away on Oct. 7, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.D. and Reeper Weinmann; sisters, Betsy Nelson and Dolores Brock, all of Moulton. She is survived by her daughter, Rose Armstrong Keller (Allen); son, Alex Armstrong; daughter, Heather Armstrong Rabchuk (Brian); grandchildren, Emaline Keller and Raymond Keller IV; sisters, Rosemary Lewey and Lisa Steele; nephews, Jim Lewey, Brad Steele, Scott Steele; niece, Katy Beth Carr; as well as a host of cousins; loved ones and friends. Ms. Weinmann was a graduate of Lawrence County High School, and held a bachelor's degree in psychology from Jacksonville State University, as well as a master's degree in psychology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She was recently retired from a 25 yr. career in the Jackson County School system, and had previously served as director of ARC of St. Claire County, Ala. She was a membr of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Scottsboro. A viewing will be held at Valley Funeral Home in Scottsboro from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 10 with the funeral srvice at St. Luke's Episcopal Church on Wednesday, Oct. 11 at 11 a.m.
