Elizabeth Orr

ROSSVILLE — Elizabeth Imogene “Jean” Orr, 89, of the Lakeview Community passed away Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017 at her son’s home in Dacula, Ga. where she had lived for the past 14 years. Mrs. Orr loved animals having raised Pekingese dogs and also having several pet monkeys over the yrs. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens and she had artistic ability working with ceramics and painting dolls. Jean was also known for her patience and care while she took great care of her mother-in-law, Lillian Orr, for several yrs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence C. Orr, Jr.; and brothers, John Arnold and Frank Fischel. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Jerri Lynn Orr of Dacula, Ga.; nephew, Todd Fischel; nieces, Falecia Fischel, Teresa Graham, and Darlene Arnold; and two step-grandchildren, Joshua and Samir Janjua. Condolences may be sent to www.lane-southcrestchapel.com. Graveside services will be held Thursday, Oct. 19 at 2:30 p.m. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Reverend Greg Ezell officiating. Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
