Randal Keel

Randal Keel, 70, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Oct. 14, 2017. He was born July 13, 1947, the sixth child of Pascal and Florence Keel. He was a Vietnam War Veteran and retired from TVA. A long time member of Tracy City First United Methodist Church, Randal spent decades serving as head usher. Known for his sweet spirit and kind heart, children would often flock to “Mr. Randal” for hugs. He is preceded in death by his parents, Pascal and Florence Keel; and sister, Carlene (Jimmy) Ashby. He is survived by his wife of 45 yrs., Betty Sue; and son, Jerrett Lee (Julie) Keel; siblings, Gene (Ruth), Mary, Ann (Bill) Reese, JB (Rosemary); brother-in-law, Jerry (Delores) Perry; a host of nieces and nephews; and special friends, the Conry, Sanders, Childers and Campbell families. Visitation will be Oct. 17, 2017 from 5 to 9 p.m., at Cumberland Funeral Home in Tracy City with the Celebration of Life on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017 2 p.m., at Foster and Lay Chapel. Interment will follow at Plainview Cemetery.
