Danny Crosland

Danny Earl Crosland, 59, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Ooltewah Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017. Danny was born on Dec. 7, 1957, in De Kalb, Miss. His parents are Judy Temple Wilson of Ooltewah and Emory Earl Crosland of Knoxville. Danny graduated from Chattanooga Central High School in Chattanooga. He attended Cleveland State, UTC, and Chattanooga State Tech. He worked in the construction and transportation fields. Danny lived in Knoxville until the age of 13 when he and his family moved to Chattanooga. Throughout his school years, Danny excelled in playing the sports, baseball, football, and ice hockey. He was a member of Westview Baptist Church in Chattanooga. Danny is survived by his parents, and his children, Eric, Josh, and Hannah Crosland of Ringgold, Ga. Other survivors include his brothers, Craig Crosland of Los Angeles, Calif. and Michael Crosland of Ft. Collins, Colo.; his aunts, Jan Thompson of Knoxville, and Sheryl Anne Armstrong of Sherrill’s Ford, N.C.; his cousins, Jan Mahaffey, Jill Southers, Mark and Glen Baumann of Knoxville, and Brad Baumann of Savannah, Ga. Danny was predeceased by his grandparents, Theo (his precious Granny) and William Temple, and Eloise and Ben Crosland; aunts, Carol Baumann and Reed Mahaffey and his cousin, Eric Mahaffey (his special buddy).
