Jimmy Pressley

James “Jimmy” Pressley, 52, of East Ridge, passed away Monday, Sept. 11, 2017. He was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga where he was a 1985 graduate of East Ridge High School. Jimmy had worked as a manager for many years at Truck Pro in Chattanooga and Dalton. His passions in life was riding motorcycles and enjoying the outdoors. He loved working on trucks, watching NASCAR and wrestling, and just enjoying life. He was a loving dad, son, and brother who will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Pressley; paternal grandparents, Ben and Opal Pressley; and maternal grandfather, Junior Allen Hicks. Survivors include his son, James Pressley, of East Ridge; father, David Pressley, of East Ridge; sisters, Elizabeth Duncan, of Chattanooga and Becky Robinson, of Rossville; maternal grandmother, Sarah Hicks, of Chattanooga; nieces, Kasey Wortman and Chasity Robinson; and nephew, Dakota Robinson, all of Chattanooga. Condolences may be sent to www.lane-southcrestchapel.com. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Jimmy Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in the Lakewood South Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
