Clifford Allmon
FORT OGLETHORPE — Clifford Lee Allmon, 92, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017, at his home.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in World War II and has lived in Fort Oglethorpe for the past 46 years.
Clifford was a former member at Brainerd
Baptist Church and was currently a member at Cloud Springs Baptist Church. He was retired
from Memorial Hospital and Associated Adjusters.
Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Sue Allmon; son, Kenneth (Tina) Gilreath, Knoxville and daughter, Ginger Gail Johnston, Ringgold; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel with Pastor Bill Gardner
officiating. Interment will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
