RINGGOLD — Jennifer Starr Ransom Ormsby, 44, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017. A lifelong resident of the Ringgold area, Jennifer was an employee of PBI Printing, where she worked for 10 years and was a member of Westside Missionary Baptist Church. Jennifer loved spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jeff Dean. She is survived by her husband, Michael Shawn Ormsby of Ringgold; Mother, Debbie (Sidney) Clark Queen of Trion, Ga.; father, Jimmy (Eileen) Ransom of East Ridge; two children, Ashley (John Robert) Wiggins of Ringgold, and Justin Dean of Ringgold; four step-children, Matthew Ormsby, Austin Ormsby, Brandon Ormsby, and Meghan Ormsby all of Ringgold; grandmothers, Billie Ransom of Chattanooga, and Lois Queen of Trion, Ga.; two half-sisters, Alicia (Jamie) Debity of Ringgold, and Amy (Nolan) Hall of Ringgold; two half-brothers, Todd (Misty) Queen of Ringgold, and Tripp (Stephanie) Ransom of Chattanooga; four grandchildren, Brody Hughes, JayLynn Newsome, Connor Wiggins, and Ava Wiggins, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Noon Thursday, Sept. 21, 2017 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Catoosa Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. until funeral time at the funeral home.
