Dennis Daniel

LAFAYETTE — Dennis J Daniel, 67, went to be with our Heavenly Father on Thursday, March 29, 2018. He was surrounded by family and friends. He was born Oct. 3, 1950, in LaFayette, Ga. to Lynn and Mary Ellen Daniel. He was greatly valued in his profession of orthotics and prosthetics for over 40 years. He showed great love and compassion to his patients throughout his career with Snell's Limb and Brace of Jackson. Dennis is cherished and had a great love of family and friends. He enjoyed life to the fullest riding motorcycles, traveling, and loving people. He enjoyed many trips and the comradely with his dear friends of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America .- Confederate Chapter. He also shared his love of motorcycles with his brother, Mike, since early childhood. Dennis adored his family and spoke of each member with great love and pride. He is survived by his fiancé, Gale Jernigan Hill; his daughter, Wendy (John) Littie; his two grandsons, Joseph and John-Michael Little; his brothers, Mike (Nancy) Daniel and Dale Daniel; and nieces, Angie (Dave) Cass and Jenny (Matt) Hullander. He was preceded in death by his son, Josh Daniel. His family loved him deeply as did his many, many friends. Our lives will be forever changed by Dennis' adoring love for all his friends and family. Thoughts of Dennis will surely be followed by a smile because of his mischievous nature and pure love. A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018, at 2 p.m. in the North Chapel of George A.Smith and Sons with Dr. Don Thrasher officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 12 p.m. until the time of the service at 2 p.m. In Lieu of flowers, please make donations to the charity of your choice in Dennis name for he had a very charitable heart.
