Barbara Cooper
Barbara Miller Cooper, 70, of Harrison, Tenn. passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, after a brief battle with brain cancer on April 15, 2018.
Barbara was born on Dec. 28, 1947, in Calhoun, Ky. to the late Hugh and Jenevia Miller. She loved
gardening, travelling, spending time with her large family, especially the little ones, and lemon drop
martinis.
She worked many years as a nurse in long-term care and as an executive for several long-term care
facilities.
Survivors include her husband, William (Bill) G Cooper; six children, Al (Cheryl) Clark, Thomas (Donna)
Clark, Jennifer (Mike) Lowry, Julie Cooper, Lisa (Adrian) Copeland and Laura (Jason) Malone; 13
grandchildren (with one on the way); and four great-grandchildren and her loving kitty, Prissy.
A Celebration of Life will be held at The Gray Dove, 6408 Snow Hill Road, Ooltewah, Tenn. 37363 on April
21 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Kindred Hospice of Cleveland and a special thanks to
Kathy Higgins and Ted Smith.
