Cleve Shaw

WHITWELL — Cleve Shaw, 87, went to his Heavenly Home on Monday, April 17, 2018. He was a member of the Cumberland Mtn. Church of God, and was employed by U.S. Pipe for over 40 years. The son of the late Roger and Mayme Weathers Shaw, Cleve was also preceded in death by his daughters, June (Richard) Headlee, Jane (Buddy) Merciers, Peggy Glover, Sandra Prescott; brother, Curtis Shaw; and grandson, Shawn Russell. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 28 years, Peggy Shaw; daughter, Robin (Mark) Shaw Gaynor; three stepchildren; brother, Freddy (Bea) Shaw; sister, Barbara Jean (Ray) Haynes; nine grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Loraine Shaw; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 20, at noon CDT at the Cumberland Mtn. Church of God, with Brother Jerry Basham and Brother Ronnie Cookston officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 19, 2018, from 4 to 8 p.m. CDT at Reed Funeral Home and Friday, April 20, from 10 a.m. CDT until the time of the service at the church.
