John Willingham

ROSSVILLE — John Holbrook Willingham, 89, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018. John was born in 1928, in Menlo, Ga., to the late Roy and Velma Holbrook Willingham. John has lived in Rossville for the past 20 years and was of the Baptist faith. He retired as a sales manager from Coca-Cola food division after 42 years of service. John was an avid fisherman and was a longtime scout master for Scout Troop #182 in Rossville. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Anna Margaret Lockman Willingham. Survivors are his sons, John Steven (Elizabeth Caballero) Willingham, New Braunfels, TX, and David (Carla) Willingham, Jackson, Ga.; sister, Ruth Horton, Ringgold and brother-in-law, Tommy Lockman, Chickamauga; grandchildren, Megan Burton, Kelley Lee Willingham, and John Holbrook Willingham; and several great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be 4 p.m. Wednesday, at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park. Visit www.heritagebattlefield.com to share condolences with the family and view the memorial tribute.
