Dewey Graham

SHARON, Pa. — Dewey L. Graham, 89, passed away on Tuesday, April, 24, 2018, in Sharon Regional Hospital. Born Feb. 27, 1929, in Soddy-Daisy, Tenn., he was the son of the of the late Jessie and May Lewis Graham. He married the former Dolly McGee on Feb. 24, 2002, and she survives at home. Dewey worked as a Engineer and Surveyor for the Tennessee Valley Authority for 46 years before retiring. He served in the Marine Corp. during the Korean War as a Sargent. Dewey loved gardening and working in his wood shop, he was a handy man who could fix anything. He was a follower of God, who belonged to the Westside Baptist church and was a former member of the North Red Bank Baptist Church in Chattanooga Tenn., where he served as a Deacon and Treasurer. Dewey is survived by three daughters, Tracy Graham,, of Delaware, Pamela Phillips of Tennessee and Sandria Graham, of Michigan; two stepsons, George Taub II, of W. Middlesex, Pa. and Bruce A. Taub, of Sharon, Pa.; and one stepdaughter, Becky Evans and her husband Dan, of Hubbard Ohio. Survived also by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by five siblings and one grandchild. Visitation will be held on Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home LLC 264 E. State Street, Sharon Pa. 16146. A funeral service will be held immediately following at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Roger Redmond, the Rev. David Pearson and the Rev. Dennis Wise officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Westside Baptist Church, 17 E.
