Shawn Booth

Shawn Carlton Booth, 19, of Chattanooga, left this world to join his heavenly Father on Monday, April 23, 2018. Shawn was a 2017 graduate of the Family Christian Academy East. He was an employee of Food City in East Brainerd. He enjoyed church youth groups in both Grace Works and Christ United Methodist Churches. Shawn was very close to his mother, brother and pastor, David Hall. His mother’s life is forever changed and will never be the same. Shawn was the most special person in the world to his mother and many. Shawn was kind, giving, forgiving and shown unconditional love to his friends and family. He was a great encouragement to those around him. He looked forward to a career in Real Estate and had a free style rap video channel called “Father Shawn”. He and his brother, Shane also enjoyed playing video games together. He was preceded in death by his father, Joel Carl Booth; grandparents; aunt, Marsha Lynn Parker. Survivors include his mother, Mary Beth Booth; brother, Shane Booth; “uncle”, John Spetz, grandmother, Evelyn Nelson; uncles, Steve, Michael, and Andy Nelson as well as Johnny; cousins, Andy Jr., Kari Nelson, Valarie, Julie Hanson, Sunny Booth, Christina, Jonathan Wade (Amber), Samantha Spetz; best friend, Seth Myers and many other cousins, friends and church family. Shawn loved Cash and Libby Cats. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Christ United Methodist with Pastor David Hall officiating.
