Diane Garner
ROSSVILLE — Diane Dodd Garner, 66, of Dogwood Place, passed away
peacefully April 27, 2018, at her home.
She was a lifelong resident of Catoosa County and a 1971 graduate of
Ringgold High School. Diane was retired from Catoosa County Board of Education Transporation Department. She drove a school bus for many
years, was a school bus trainer and chosen to be a driver for the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. Diane loved to go antiquing and collected antiques but
most of all she loved God and cherished her family. She was a member of
the Peavine Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents J.T. and Mackie Russell Dodd.
Survivors include her son, Chad Capehart; granddaughter, Emma Kate Capehart; sister, Joy Dodd and Uncle Cantrell (Nadine) Dodd and cousins.
The family extends a special thanks to Hearth Hospice, Peggy Jones and
Donna Taylor for their care and love shown.

The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. prior to A Celebration of Life
at 6 p.m. Sunday, April 29, 2018, with Jim Forster officiating at the South
Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, at the end of historic
Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
