Jane Rayburn

Jane Lee Rayburn - Born in Anna, Ill. on May 3, 1936, to Harold and Estalee Bauer. She met William E. (Bill) Rayburn in Omaha, Neb. in 1958, and they married 3 months later. Jane is survived by her husband Bill; Daughter, Julia Thiel (Ken); Son, William H. Rayburn (Donna); and Granddaughter, Julia. Jane was an active member of Lookout Valley Baptist Church. She was a gifted pianist and organist, served as a volunteer for multiple organizations and taught 4th grade at Brainerd Baptist School. In years past, Jane served as organist at Lookout Valley Baptist Church and Lookout Valley Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 30, 2018, in the funeral home chapel with Darrell Smith officiating. Interment will follow the service at the Chattanooga National Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
