Lula Shultz

ROSSVILLE — Lula Mae Schultz, 89, of Rossville, Ga., passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018, in a local hospital. Lula, a Christian of strong faith, devoted her life to caring for her family. She was a native of Wannville, Ala. but lived most of her life in the Rossville area until failing health placed her with her daughter’s family in Riceville, Tenn. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Thomas K. Schultz, Sr, son, Norman Short, and grandson, Jeffrey Short. Survivors include her son, Thomas Schultz, Jr. of Rossville, Ga., daughter’s Angela (Dennis) Tallent of Ft. Oglethorpe, Ga., and Sharon (Greg) Whittle of Riceville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Tim (Jeanette) Mull, Stacey (Eric) Wooten, Becky Patterson, Nathan Whittle, Katie (Ryan) Frank, and Thomas Whittle; great-grandchildren, Mercy, Jonathan, Dylan, Alyssa, Kelsey, and Jacob. Graveside services will be held, Monday, August 6, 2018m at 2:30 p.m. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be shared at lane-southcrestchapel.com. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 5, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Monday, August 6, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
