Donny Sneed

Donny Sneed, 66, of Chattanooga, passed away peacefully on Tuesday Aug. 7, 2018. He retired from Tennessee Valley Ice Company, was an avid Tennessee Vols fan and loved the Andy Griffith Show. His favorite holiday was Thanksgiving because he got to spend time with his family. Donny was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Verna Sneed; his brother, DeWayne (Stanley) Sneed; and brother-in-law, Billy Harper. Those left to cherish his memory include sisters, Sue Harper, Brenda (Danny) Lively, Debbie Casey, and Jo Ann Luthringer; several nieces, nephews and friends; and his dear friend, Dr. Terence Orme. The family will receive friends 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, and noon to 1:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, at Lane Funeral Home on Ashland Terrace.
