Ernest Carter

Ernest “Ernie” Carter, 90, moved from this earthly home to his Heavenly home on Aug. 10, 2018. He left many friends from coast to coast and was an ardent lover of southern gospel and early jazz. Survived by his brother, Charles (Patricia) Rucker; daughter, Sigrun (Alex) Bradley; grandson, granddaughter, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Ernie was a member of the Neighborhood Chapel in Red Bank. No formal services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made in Ernie’s memory to the Chattanooga Community Kitchen and/or The Salvation Army.
