Sara Ferguson

Sara Wallis Ferguson, 96, of Chattanooga, passed away on Monday, Aug. 13, 2018. Sara was born in Murray, Ky., to the late George and Mamie Wallis. She was a longtime member of Parkway Baptist Church in Clinton, Miss., and currently a member of White Oak Baptist. Sara was a loving and devoted wife to the late Bethel Ferguson. Sara is survived by her children, Margaret (Louis) Johnson, Signal Mountain, Tenn., and George (Linda) Ferguson, Chesnee, South Carolina; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. There will be no services in Chattanooga; all the services for Sara will be held in Jackson, Miss. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Parkway Baptist Church, 802 North Frontage Road, Clinton, Miss.
